Developed by Octopus Cards Ltd, the Octopus App for Business offers a comprehensive solution for merchants. It facilitates the process of signing up for an Octopus Business Account and enables merchants to accept payments via Octopus cards and Octopus QR Codes using an Android mobile device. The app provides convenient access to various essential functions:

• Submit Business Account Application: Merchants can efficiently complete their account application and upload the necessary documents through the Octopus App for Business.
• Receive Instant Payment Notification: Upon successful payment, merchants instantly receive notification messages on their mobile device, providing real-time updates on their Business Account balance.
• Instantly Transfer Monies Received to Bank Account with "FPS": The app is integrated with Faster Payment Service (FPS), allowing shop owners to promptly transfer funds from their Business Accounts to their pre-registered bank accounts 24/7.
• Auto Bank Transfer: Shop owners can configure the "Auto Bank Transfer" feature to automatically transfer the entire balance from the Business Account to the pre-registered bank account on a monthly, weekly, or daily basis.
• Generate Octopus QR Code to Receive Payment: Merchants have the option to create QR Codes, with or without embedded transaction amounts, for customers to scan and pay for goods and services easily.
• View Payment History: Merchants can conveniently review transaction records and summaries, as well as export reports via email.
• Switch between Cashier Mode and Shop Owner Mode:
  • Cashier Mode: Enables real-time notification messages and supports inquiries concerning transaction records.
  • Shop Owner Mode: Provides additional features for managing the Business Account, such as adding and removing cashiers, POS and shop management, and transferring balances to bank accounts.
